Fact: 40% of the people needing long-term care today are working-age adults, ages 18-643- cases like Chris topher Reeve ("Superman") paralyzed at age 43 and Michael J. Fox with Parkinson's disease at age 38 are not that uncommon.

Fact: Long-term care is not covered by health insurance (group, individual or HMO's), or by Medicare or Medicare supplements.
